Create a New Event & with Volunteer Roles

1. From the Dashboard, navigate to "Events"

2. Click on the "Add new event" icon

3. Name the Volunteering event with a title familiar to your organisation's members. (this will be shown on the chatbot)

For example:
Match Day
Canteen Duties
Quiz Night

Roles for each of these events will be created in the next step

4. Complete the required event details.

The times / dates here should include the whole length of the event.
For example:
Match Day
Start 08:00am
End 17:00pm

5. Click on done

6. Click on Save

7. Click on "Add new role" to add Volunteer Duties specific to that event

8. Choose a name of the Event Role which is easy to understand by your organisation's volunteers. (this will be shown on the chatbot)

For example:
Oval Setup
Change Room Clean-up
Boundary Umpire

9. Set the required number of volunteers for that role.

(Numbers only) for example - 2

10. Set the time and date for this role. (this will be shown on the chatbot)

You may have multiple roles of the same type but different times.
For example:

Canteen Duties

• Morning Shift
  0800 - 1100

• Lunch Shift
  1100 - 1400

• Afternoon Shift
  1400 - 1700
  
  

11. Add multiple roles to each event using the same method.
